Day 2: Islamabad – Skardu (Skyward Journey) Early Morning: Transfer for a domestic flight to Skardu, soaring over the Karakoram Range. Witness K2, the world’s second-highest peak, from above. This journey supports local regional infrastructure. Arrival in Skardu: Explore the freshwater Upper Kachura Lake (2,500m) and the iconic heart-shaped Shangri-La Lake. These sites are managed with a focus on environmental preservation. Lunch: Enjoy a traditional Skardu meal prepared with regional ingredients. Visit the local bazaar to support small-scale merchants before checking into your hotel. Halal meals and prayer spaces are prioritized throughout. Dinner and overnight in Skardu. Day 3: Skardu – Sarfaranga – Shigar – Gilgit Breakfast at your hotel. Morning: Visit Sarfaranga Cold Desert, one of the world's highest, where we encourage eco-friendly adventure. Midday: Transfer to Shigar Valley to visit Shigar Fort, a restored heritage site that sustains local historical preservation. Lunch: Savor local flavors at the Fort. Afternoon: Scenic drive toward Gilgit with a restful stop at Astak Nala. Evening: Arrival in Gilgit for a warm dinner and hospitality. Overnight in Gilgit. Day 4: Gilgit to Hunza (The Silk Route Connection) Morning Drive: Depart for Hunza via the historic Old Silk Road, a testament to ancient cultural exchange. Short stops at Guro Nala and Rakaposhi Viewpoint offer stunning vistas for reflection. Lunch: Enjoy local mountain cuisine at the base of Rakaposhi Peak. Lunch: A traditional meal at Hopper Keple featuring Mutton Gorkon, supporting local herdsmen. Afternoon: Visit KADO (Karakoram Area Development Organization) – Hunar Khaan. This is a vital part of our social impact mission, where we see firsthand how vocational training empowers women and the marginalized. Return to Hunza for dinner and rest. Day 7: Hunza – Naltar – Gilgit Scenic drive back toward Gilgit with a stop at Rakaposhi & Diran Peak for local artisan shopping. Transition to 4x4 jeeps in Nomal for an off-road trek to Naltar Valley’s vibrant Rainbow, Blue, and Parri Lakes. Surrounded by pine forests, these waters represent the pristine beauty we strive to protect. Return to Gilgit for an overnight stay. Day 8: Gilgit to Chattar Plain / Naran (Highland Traditions) Select between the year-round Chattar Plain route or the seasonal Naran pass (June-Oct). Both routes offer a stop at the unique Junction Point of the world's three mightiest mountain ranges. Pay respects at the Nanga Parbat Viewpoint, the legendary "Killer Mountain." Lunch is hosted at local family-run eateries to ensure direct ethical prosperity. Arrive at your destination—either Chatar Plain or Naran—for an evening surrounded by nature’s majesty.
