Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrival in Manado
Meals: Dinner
Arrive at Manado Airport and meet your local guide, then transfer to your hotel in Manado. After check‑in, enjoy some free time to rest or explore the nearby area at your own pace. In the evening, gather for a welcome briefing and dinner where your guide will outline the programme for the days ahead.
 

Day 2 — Manado – Tangkoko Nature Reserve
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, depart Manado and drive towards Tangkoko Nature Reserve, passing coastal villages and scenic landscapes along the way. On arrival, check in to your simple lodge near the park and have lunch. In the afternoon, head into the forest with your ranger and guide to search for Tangkoko’s famous wildlife, including black crested macaques, hornbills and other endemic species. As dusk approaches, look for tiny tarsiers emerging from their tree hollows. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
 

Day 3 — Tangkoko – Manado – Bunaken
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Wake early for another walk in Tangkoko to enjoy the forest at first light and increase your chances of wildlife sightings. After breakfast back at the lodge, check out and drive to Manado harbour. Board a boat to Bunaken Island, enjoying views of the bay as you cross. On arrival, check in to your island accommodation and have lunch. The afternoon is free to relax on the beach or snorkel from shore, followed by dinner and overnight on Bunaken.
 

Day 4 — Bunaken Marine Park
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Spend a full day exploring Bunaken Marine Park. After breakfast, head out by boat to some of the area’s best snorkelling or diving sites (depending on your chosen package), where you can see colourful coral walls, reef fish and, with luck, turtles gliding past. Enjoy lunch between sessions and time to relax on board or on the beach. In the late afternoon, return to your accommodation for free time, dinner and overnight.
 

Day 5 — Bunaken – Manado – Departure
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, check out and take the boat back to Manado. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight, with timing arranged according to your departure schedule.
